Boars of the Far North showcases the spectacular hunting we have
up here in the Territory. Being a passionate hunter, dog breeder and
semi professional cameraman myself, and being disappointed time
and time again after buying all the different dog hunting dvd’s, I finally
decided to make my own and try to add the content that I as a pig hunter
wanted to see. In the territory we have the advantage of being able hunt the
wide-open flood plains were more often than not you are able to spot the pig before it spots you, move the camera into position and release the dogs. Add to that we have some of the biggest, toughest and hardest fighting boars in the country and we have ended up with some excellent chase, hit up and holding footage.

Boars of the far north takes you on a journey with some of my personal and my friends dogs who have been purpose breed and grown up taking these boars, you will see you young dogs come of age when they are faced for the first time, one out, by boars nearly 3 times there weight. You will see some truly massive boars being caught with no more than three dogs and in many cases only one. See the spectacular scenery that only the NT can offer, see the dangers we face when we encounter buffalo and saltwater crocodiles, tag along on a hunt with George Bandes another top territory hunter and jump in the passengers seat as we take the chopper for a blast.

A lot of the footage is professionally shot and edited with little to no shake in the camera. We target boars and there are only a few sows on the video that were only included because of the remarkable circumstances under which they were caught.
