Buffalo once roamed right across the Top End but due to an outbreak of TB the Government initiated a fairly thorough eradication plan that decimated their numbers. Being a real survivor they have really started to make a comeback. The Buffalo inhabits similar areas to the feral pigs and like the pigs some of the largest specimens can be found roaming the floodplains. GOE has exclusive rights to some of the Best Buffalo hunting Concessions in Western Arnhem Land and we have taken some world Class Bulls. Whilst by helicopter they can be hunted all year round, if your budget permits, the best month for Buffalo are from May until September.
